Shaganappi Trail Transit Study

We are launching this transit study aimed at improving transit service and connectivity along Shaganappi Trail in North Calgary. The study will examine the corridor from the Symons Valley Transit Terminal to the Brentwood Light Rail Transit (LRT) station. This corridor will facilitate a north-south crosstown transit service, linking both developing and established communities in northwest Calgary to the Primary Transit Network (PTN) and regular transit routes at the Brentwood transit terminal, including the Red Line LRT, the 144 Avenue North BRT, and the MAX Orange line.

Public Engagement: 

 Through this study, we are inviting residents to participate in several engagement opportunities online and in-person, to share their thoughts and ideas for transit service along Shaganappi Trail:

  • IN-PERSON PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT (POP-UP)
    • WHEN: Saturday, November 23, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
    • WHERE: Nose Hill Library (1530 Northmount Dr NW, Calgary)
  • IN-PERSON PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT (POP-UP)
    • WHEN: November 25, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
    • WHERE: Canadian Tire (5404 Dalton Dr, Calgary)
  • IN-PERSON PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT (POP-UP)
    • WHEN: November 27, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
    • WHERE: Sobeys – Nolan Hill (8 Nolan Hill Blvd NW #700, Calgary)

We will also be visiting some additional schools and institutions throughout November, so look out for us in your neighbourhood!
