for a Public Engagement on Blanket Rezoning and New Development Permits

Come to learn more about Blanket Rezoning to RC-G (no, it’s NOT dead yet, not by a long
shot) and about the Development Permits actively being pursued in our neighbourhood,
and how you can keep on top of what is happening with those permits.
We’ll be discussing the 3 options that are being considered by city council with regard to
RC-G zoning: Repeal outright, Keep it as is, or Reform RC-G. And what each of those
mean.
We’ll look at current Development Permit (DP) applications. We have several ongoing and
we’re anticipating more.
Learn about DMAP so you can keep on top of new applications & how to submit your
comments.
We’ll tell you about the movement to put a Restrictive Covenant onto your property title
and what that would mean.
There will be a lot going on, but this is a great way to learn about what our elected city
council is up to, the process of development applications & a quick and dirty on how to
read plans!
