This Sunday, October 11, 2026 we are gathering people & Food Bank Donations for our Next Food Bank Booster Concert at The Sportsplex
We’re excited to welcome JUNO-nominated Bluesman JW Jones back to Calgary House Concerts for a return visit.
A major voice on the Canadian blues scene, JW has spent more than two decades touring internationally, sharing stages with legends and building a reputation as one of Canada’s most respected modern blues guitarists. His performances combine precision guitar work, soulful vocals, and a natural connection with audiences that make every show feel personal.
After the fantastic energy of last year’s concert, we’re thrilled to welcome JW back for another intimate afternoon of world-class blues. In the close listening-room atmosphere of Calgary House Concerts, his musicianship and storytelling come through beautifully; exactly the way live blues is meant to be experienced.
This special Food Bank Booster Concert supports the Brentwood Food Library & Veterans Association Food Bank, continuing our tradition of bringing music, neighbors, and community spirit together for a good cause. Not just a concert — a warm, must-attend afternoon of connection, generosity and world-class live music and restock the Brentwood Food Library little bit at a time.
